In 2014 Christian Peschken and his wife Patricia started a project that was never done before: to document & to produce video reports for television & internet distribution, from the international forum of the United Nations in Geneva, mainly about the Holy See’s activities, but also other Catholic and other faith based organizations at the United Nations Geneva. H.E. Archbishop Silvano M. Tomasi (Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the U.N. Geneva until February 2016), and Rev. Frederico Lombardi (Radio Vatican Director until early 2016), Martin Rothweiler (Managing Director of EWTN Deutschland) and The Order of Malta’s Ambassador to the U.N. Geneva Marie-Therese Pictet-Althann helped the Peschken’s to make their unique project a reality.They collaborate closely with the Holy See Mission Geneva (H.E. Archbishop Ivan Jurkovič, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the UN Geneva) and several UN Geneva based organizations such as the Permanent Representative of the Order of Malta to the UN Geneva, Dominicans for Justice and Peace, International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC), Caritas Internationalis, ADF International as well as many other UN based humanitarian organizations.Christian Peschken was an accredited correspondent for Vatican Radio News at the U.N. Geneva until December 2016. Since then Mr. Peschken and his wife Patricia are UN Geneva accredited correspondents for the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN). Their reports are broadcast weekly via 'Vaticano' and ‘ EWTN News Nightly’ on EWTN, one of the largest religious television networks in the world EWTN TV (Eternal Word Television Network) and EWTN Germany EWTN TV Deutschland . The TV network reaches more then 250 million homes in 144 countries and territories (including 4.800 cable systems / Direct TV / Dish Network in the USA).
